Comment

This audiobook is one of my favourite.  I took a break while listening to Chu Wang Fei and Mei Gong Qing after I read the review on http://www.books.shushengbar.com/?p=7442.  I normally prefer happy ending story and this one seems perfect since it is a short story with female and male voice.  One of the male voice belongs to Yun Tian He.  I am not sure about the other two voices and their names.

Summary

ML is a prince wanted to be the next Emperor.  ML drugged and raped FL with the intention of forcing her to marry him.  FL is the niece of the Empress and ML was hoping to get the empress’s support by marrying FL.  FL did not know who had raped her, so when ML proposed marriage, FL accepted it immediately.  ML’s mother death was caused by the Empress.  His adopted uncle influenced ML to take revenge against the Empress and FL.  ML fell in love with FL and was worried that his adopted uncle will harm FL.  FL was accused of giving birth to an illegitimate son and to save her, ML put her in cold storage.  FL finally got to know the truth.  The adopted uncle saw how much ML loves FL and tried to protect FL hence the adopted uncle decided to kill FL by setting fire to her palace but she managed to escape.  She lost her memory and was rescued by a nun.  A few years later, she reunited with her parents after she recovered her memory.  To avoid the emperor from knowing that she survived, her family created a new identity for her.  ML visited FL’s home every year during her death anniversary.  While he was there, he met FL in her new identity but he did not believe that she was a different person.   He forced her to re-enter the palace to keep her with him.   Good Ending
