I was surprised that this book was written by Yun Wai Tian Du. It is very comical. There are not many romantic scenes between the main leads. Don’t know how I managed to listen till the end.
Summary:
FL (A Dan) is a princess rescued by ML (Bai Mi)when she was a baby to avoid being killed by his father. ML is also a long lost son of a general that overthrown FL’s dad from the emperor seat. ML went missing after the coup and his father also did not last long on the throne. He was eventually being pushed down. ML became the adopted son of the new emperor.
FL was adopted by a minister and his wife. FL grew up in a happily in a small village with a few good friends. It was quite comical how both FL and ML met again many years later. ML fell into an animal trap set by FL. After he was rescued, he told FL that he will rely on her for his food and lodging in payment for trap that she set. After this, there were series of funny scenes between both of them.
