I got hooked to English translation of Chu Wang Fe. 12Superlatives started the translation from chapter 1 -5 only then went on hiatus.  Rosyfantasy took over from chapter 55 onwards.  Then Willfulcasual translated the missing chapters from chapter 6 onwards.  As of todate, the translation is still ongoing.  Instead of waiting till the translation is completed, I decided to listen to the audiobook instead.  If you are interested to read the English Translation, please go to Novelupdates.  This book is highly recommended and you can read the review and comments on  Shushengbar.  So far, this is the longest audiobook that I have ever listened as of todate.  The actual book only has 387 chapters.  The audiobook has 608 episodes. I do not mind listening again even though it is very long and only recorded in female voice only.  During the posting of this review, Ximalaya has only up to 565 episodes.  You will need to go to Audiobook 2 to listen to the rest of the episodes.  However, there is some problem with the last few episodes in Audiobook2.

Summary:

Female Lead – Yun Qian Meng,  Male Lead – Chu Fei Yang

FL came from the future.  She died while investigating a case.  Her soul was transported into a female body of Yun Qian Meng in the ancient time.  FL is the daughter of the Left Prime Minister.  She was engaged to a Chen Wang (the emperor’s brother).  The story started where FL was begging her fiancé not to cancel their engagement in front of the emperor.  When her fiancé insisted to cancel their engagement, the FL (previous soul) tried to kill herself by banging her head against the pillar.  When she woke up, it was the soul from the modern world but the past memories of the old soul remains with her.  Hence she was aware of that had happened.  She went back to the hall with the bandage on her head to give consent for the cancellation of the engagement.  During this time, she caught the attention of the Right Prime Minister, the ML.  The ML was surprised that the disposition and personality of the FL went 360 degree change.  Hence started the pursuing of the FL by ML.  Her fiancé also noticed the difference and started to regret his decision and tried to win her back.
