Another lengthy book that I got attracted. There is time travel and reincarnation elements in this story. The story started quite comical when the FL was hit by thunder and died in the modern life but that is only very short. The story turns serious after episode 1. Summary:
FL – Lu Le Le/Hua Zang Li/Shen Le. ML – Ji Mei Ye. FL (Lu Le Le) in the modern life died after she was hit by thunder. She woke up in the body of a young imperial consort (Hua Zang Li). She offended the emperor and was re-married off to the Emperor’s brother, Yang Wei Ran. It was rumored that Yang Wei Ran only like man. The Emperor put a condition that FL need to conceive a child with Yang Wei Ran within half a year otherwise she will be punished with death.
Yang Wei Ran did not treat FL well after the marriage initially but he later fell in love with FL. Yang Wei Ran was poisoned and knowing that he will not live long, he sent FL away.
FL is actually a reincarnation of a princess (Shen Le) that lived 1000 years ago in a country called Nan Jiang. In her previous life, FL and ML fell in love but she later found out that ML is actually her twin brother. In their kingdom, when the queen gave birth to a pair of twins, one of them will be killed. ML was saved and was brought up by one of the Wang Ye.
In order to protect ML, FL decided to marry Sheng Lan. ML was hurt and could not forgive FL’s betrayal. He did not know the truth why FL could not be with him. He turned to the dark side and started to attack Nan Jiang. ML raped FL. FL killed herself and put a curse to prevent ML from returning to Nan Jiang for 1000 years. ML became the Ghost King and he pierced a needle in his head to block his memory with FL. In his memory, he only remembered a girl called Jun Si that has used her life to save him. ML swear that he will only love Jun Si and will revive her. If he break his promise, he will turn into a while bone ghost.
There was a prophesy that a girl will change the country after 1000 years and this person is the FL. It was also prophesied that both Yan Wei Ran and ML will face a love challenge in their life. Both fell in love with her but FL love ML.
Yang Wei Ran is actually Sheng Lan. After Shen Le died, he went missing. He has cultivated and able to split his body into two other persons. One turned into Yang Wei Ran and other part of his body turned into Feng Shi. In Yang Wei Ran, resides the love of Sheng Lan for FL. On another hand in the body Feng Si, resides the hatred for FL. Sheng Lan love FL very much but he was also hurt because FL only love ML.
In the ending, ML (Chi Mei Ye) married FL (Lu Le Le) and FL gave birth to a son. Both of them left Nan Jiang to start a new life in another country.
